FAQs
The Wildlife Control Company Inc
What does the price per animal cover?
Our per-animal fee encompasses a site visit by our team, animal removal from your property, trap reset with fresh bait and lure, and either relocation or disposal of the captured animal in compliance with regulations. How do you prevent catching non-target animals?
We avoid using cat or dog food as bait to prevent capturing pets. Our specialized nuisance baits and lures are specifically designed to attract only the targeted animals. We also strategically place traps near known animal travel paths or entry points.Do you charge for non-target animals?
We do charge for non-target animals as our team still needs to visit your property, release or remove the animal, and reset the trap with fresh bait. Can I release an animal from the trap?
State law prohibits anyone other than the trap operator from handling, tampering with, or moving the trap. Therefore, you are not allowed to release an animal from the trap yourself.Do I have to sign an agreement?
Yes, state regulations require us to obtain written permission before setting traps on private property. We will provide you with an agreement to sign. Will you inspect my attic or crawl space?
We perform inspections of attics and crawl spaces after the animals have been captured and removed. During these inspections, we assess any damage, check for biohazards, and evaluate insulation compaction. How long will you trap?
We continue trapping as long as there's evidence of animal activity. If we observe no movement for 5-7 days, we typically move to the repair and exclusion phase of our service.Do you repair the damaged areas to prevent further problems with other animals?
Yes, we offer repair and exclusion services. You have the option to choose which repairs or exclusion techniques you'd like us to implement based on your preferences and needs. What do you do with the animal once you catch it?
Our actions are governed by state, federal, and local regulations. When legal and suitable habitat is available, we relocate the animals. However, animals considered high-risk must be euthanized in accordance with the law. What if there was no animal in the trap when I called in the report, but there is when you come out to re-bait or freshen up the lure?
In such instances, we will remove the animal from the trap during our visit. We'll leave a note or door hanger to inform you of the action taken.
